Hi! I’m Josie. I am constantly trying to optimize my health and habits to get more done while also balancing fun and '“Josie time”. I want to be more effective in everything I do. I have a growth mindset and love self-improvement, and I want to share what I’m learning with you.
I optimize my health through diet, exercise, and sleep. The more I understand about my body and my tendencies, the easier it is to maintain energy, mindfulness, and body composition. I have tweaked my habits for over a decade to determine what works for me to maintain my weight effortlessly and my energy levels the majority of the time, so I can continue personal growth and high achievement in all areas of my life. I will only continue to build on this.
As an example, 80% of the time I don’t eat desserts or bread or pasta. The other 20% of the time, I’ve decided for other reasons - holidays, social events, etc. that I can enjoy these things guilt-free.
80% of the time I get 8+ hours of sleep each night. The other 20% of the time I’ve decided deadlines or quality time for an important phone call is worth cutting into my sleep.
